Marble, timeless elegance
Once upon a time there was marble. This fascinating sedimentary rock, composed of calcium carbonate, has been with us throughout our whole history, and it is ever-present and alive today. We still admire the works constructed in past centuries with this resistant material, which was used by the ancient Greeks and Romans and then came down through subsequent epochs of history: we admire the majestic buildings, ancient temples and cathedrals, but also sculptures that have remained eternal, created by artists such as Michelangelo and Bernini. We can certainly say that the history of humankind is written in marble.
This is a highly-prized material, greatly appreciated for the gleam and harmonious beauty which enhances any environment. With its elegance and refinement, marble has a lasting charm that defies time and goes beyond any transient fashion. This is why we talk about marble even today, and we use it to create cutting-edge architectural projects, able to dialogue with the past and look to the future.
